The winery itself is constructed from a pre-civil war hand hewn timber frame, and finished with cherry, aspen, poplar, walnut, and maple. The support beams of the barn were originally located near Cloverleaf High School off State Route 224 in Medina County, Ohio. The barn was disassembled and moved to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

The Tasting Room

The tasting room is the main focus of the winery that houses our kitchen, bar, and main seating area. The tasting room keeps with the rustic theme set with handmade wooden tables and bar. It also serves as our art gallery, where you can browse and purchase local and national art ranging from paintings, pottery, glass suncatchers, and other hand crafted goods.

The Loft

The Loft was the first addition to the winery and was completed in May of 2011. It is a beautiful two level space that overlooks our main tasting room. The loft serves as our party rental space and frequently hosts customer events such as bridal showers, birthday parties, and rehearsal dinners. When it is not rented, it serves as extra seating for our guests. Details about renting the loft are available in the “Party Planning” section of the website.

The Garden

As you enter the winery, our stunning and educational butterfly garden lines your walk. Exotic flowers, plants, a Koi pond, and small waterfall are some of this areas features. We also have a number of picnic tables that are available for guests which offer a peaceful setting for private or group seating.

The Deck

The deck provides breathtaking views of our grape vines just outside of the main tasting room. Watch as the vines grow over the season and dance in the wind. The deck is the best way to enjoy the true essence of the vineyard and Cuyahoga Valley National Park through the seasons. Feel free to walk the rows of vines and check out our beautiful fruit for yourself, just avoid eating the grapes as we need them to make our wine!

We also have a small fire-pit on the deck to keep you warm and serves as a great gathering place for friends. The largest party seated on the deck is 6 guests.

The Pavilion

The newest addition of Sarah’s Vineyard is open seasonally. Set adjacent to the main tasting room and winery, the pavilion offers additional, outstanding views of the grape vines as the seasons pass. The main focal point of the pavilion is the large, 3 story wood burning fireplace comprised of stones from Cleveland’s East 14th Street. The vast open sided structure is supported by large hand-built white oak trusses spanning over 36 feet. Surrounding the pavilion are several picnic tables with umbrellas. The largest party seated in the pavilion is 12 guests. Groups larger can enjoy seating at the picnic tables, or in the butterfly garden.

In the Fall, Cleveland Brown’s games are shown. We will also be showing Cleveland Guardians and Cavliers games during open hours!
